The 2nd Annual Sub Sahara Spectrum Management Conference

The 2nd Annual Sub-Sahara Spectrum Management Conference is jointly organised by ITU and Forum Global, and is taking place as part of 'The Global Spectrum Series'.

 

For the 2nd consecutive year, the conference will provide a high-level meeting point for stakeholders across Sub-Saharan Africa and beyond to discuss topical issues relating to the management and co-ordination of spectrum policy across the region.

 

The objective of the conference is to highlight the importance of Spectrum Management for ICT development in the region, and to look at the best way forward in developing harmonised spectrum strategies to ensure that the region is maximizing the opportunities that are available. Issues to be covered include post WRC-15 discussions on how to make Spectrum work for Africa; mapping the future of the 700MHz & 800MHz bands; connectivity for 4G services; ensuring that Africa is part of the 5G revolution; Connecting Africa; Spectrum Awards, Pricing and Valuation Masterclass.

The 3rd Annual Latin America Spectrum Management Conference

The 4th Internet of Things Global Summit

Co-organised alongside ITU and APT, The 2nd Annual Asia-Pacific Spectrum Management Conference will once again provide a high-level meeting point for stakeholders across the Asia-Pacific and beyond to discuss topical issues relating to the management and co-ordination of spectrum policy in the region. It will also offer the chance to look at the best practices in spectrum management across the board.
